Things are moving ahead at full speed for the upcoming The Hobbit movies.  Recently, several of the main cast members made some appearances before the press in New Zealand. Thankfully, someone had the good sense to record them and share them with the world so I can share them with you. It’s finally happened, The Hobbit is officially becoming a movie (well really two movies) and has gotten the much needed greenlight that fans have been waiting for. Here is what the LA Times had to say on the matter:

It is official, Peter Jackson IS directing The Hobbit and can I just say YAY!?!?!? I have thought since day one when this project was announced, that he should be the one in the director’s chair and now he is. Thank goodness. The New York Times did a nice blog on it and seeing as I’m incredibly busy today and already posted about Rapunzel coming to Disneyland, I’m just going to share that with you.
