On Thursday, I was honored to be invited to go to an event called Route 66 and Beyond Media Event at Disney California Adventure. This was basically a look at everything that is coming this summer to the Disneyland Resort. The highlight was obviously all the new changes in Disney California Adventure…specifically Buena Vista Street and Cars Land (which we got to tour!) The first part of our day was a thing called a “Cast Showcase.” This showcases all the new things that were coming up. Each room had a [Read More]

A few weeks ago as I was wondering through Disney California Adventure I happened upon Minnie Mouse next to the plane in Condor Flats. I quickly snapped a picture of her. Really, this is a great place for her to be taking photos. I have always loved this plane. It adds so much to the area and it looks really cool! What do you think?

Happy Easter! When I think of Easter I think of new beginnings and what represents a new beginning better than a budding flower? I went to Disney California Adventure at the Disneyland Resort on Friday night and nabbed this picture. I will admit, I looked a bit weird when I took this. I saw the flowers in the background but had to get fairly low to the ground to get the line quite right. So… I was half sitting/laying against the fence as I took this picture. Hopefully you’ll agree [Read More]
This Sunday at Disneyland it rained… quite a bit actually. Anyone who knows me knows I LOVE the rain! So, with iPhone in hand I made my way into the park for a very wet adventure. Hours later I was drenched to the bone, a bit on the cool side, but having a blast as I took pictures right past park closing at midnight. Here are a few of my photos from the day! I hope you enjoy!

Yesterday I had the chance to go check out the new Meet n’ Greet location at Disney California Adventure and meet Sailor Mickey. As a lover of the sea, this was definitely a treat. I have grown up loving boats, the sea, and sailing especially so I definitely wanted to make sure and see Sailor Mickey yesterday. First, however I went and saw the last day of Mardi Gras as a part of the Family Fun Weekends. The highlight of this visit was that Dale seemed to really like my [Read More]
Friday I spent a majority of my time at the Disneyland Resort in Disneyland. Yesterday, while a bulk of my time was spent in Disneyland I did take a stroll through Disney California Adventure to see what was going on in that park. While I did find the construction progressing along as I expected it would be, I also was pleasantly surprised to find some pockets of beauty popping up as well around the park. Hope you enjoy this photo report!

Last year I had the distinct pleasure of getting to attend the world premiere for the World of Color at Disney California Adventure. Due to limitations at the time for youtube, I was unable to upload the entire premiere in one segment. This however was recently remedied. Once remedied, I went through the wonderful process of rendering a 43 minute video and then uploading. The first took approximately 13 hours and the latter another 5 hours. All of that done, it is now on youtube for the world to enjoy. It was [Read More]
Today I visited DCA with my friend Becca from Mouse Info. Of course I brought my camera along and took a few pics so I thought I’d share them with you. There are photos of the construction going on throughout the park along with a wonderful encounter with Donald Duck. Hope you enjoy these shots!

Disney California Adventure (DCA) turns ten today. I wrote the following article for DAPs Magic Disney News this morning with a bit of a history of the park. Take a look at it and following it, I’ll write my own personal comments on the park. Let me know what you think of DCA both then and now.
Ten years ago Michael Eisner, Mickey Mouse, and more were present for the opening of the second gate at the Disneyland Resort. Disney’s California Adventure opened its gates for the first time ten years [Read More]
