Make it a GREAT day!
-Mr. DAPs
Two weeks ago it was raining and it was raining hard. Like any normal group of people, we decided it was a good idea to go to Disneyland! I mean really, why wouldn’t we? A little freezing cold rain on one of the cooler days this winter in California is the perfect day to go to Disneyland right? Well, we thought so… for most of the day.
It was a day full of laughter and adventure! In the mid-afternoon as we listened to Ragtime Robert, we saw a man dressed all [Read More]
Happy St. Patricks Day everyone!
St. Patrick’s Day has become an incredibly popular holiday. It seems that every year it becomes more popular. I thought this year I would go look back at the origins of St. Patrick’s Day. So I did a little research on Patrick himself. Here is what I found.
Patrick was born into a wealthy Romano-British family in… you guessed it, Great Britain! His father and grandfather were deacons in the church. To anyone looking from the outside, Patrick was going to have a very nice life. he [Read More]
Yesterday I had the chance to go check out the new Meet n’ Greet location at Disney California Adventure and meet Sailor Mickey. As a lover of the sea, this was definitely a treat. I have grown up loving boats, the sea, and sailing especially so I definitely wanted to make sure and see Sailor Mickey yesterday. First, however I went and saw the last day of Mardi Gras as a part of the Family Fun Weekends. The highlight of this visit was that Dale seemed to really like my [Read More]
This morning the internet was a flurry with talk of Talking Mickey returning to Disneyland. From what we’ve gathered, Mickey Mouse came out in front of his house in Toontown at Disneyland around 9 something in the morning. He then proceeded to TALK with guests for a period of time before making his way back inside.
The feedback from the people I have talked to so far has been incredible. Imagine, Mickey Mouse talking as he walks around Toontown! I have always told people that Mickey Mouse should walk around the [Read More]
There are quite a few hidden treasures at the Disneyland Resort. These are just those little magical places that most people just walk on by without really paying attention to. However, if they were to stop and check these things out they would find a beautiful location or moment of Disney magic. Some of these treasures are bigger than others. Some of them have been made to be intentionally magical and others provide magic just by existing. They really aren’t that hidden but more accurately they are quite often just [Read More]
It has been awhile since I have done a James Bond update but I have good news! He is on his way back and things are starting to come together. First off, there is now a date for his return to the big screen. Last month Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, along with Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, Co-Chairmen and Chief Executive Officers of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc., announced that James Bond would be returning to the big screen on November 9, 2012. Production for this [Read More]
Friday I spent a majority of my time at the Disneyland Resort in Disneyland. Yesterday, while a bulk of my time was spent in Disneyland I did take a stroll through Disney California Adventure to see what was going on in that park. While I did find the construction progressing along as I expected it would be, I also was pleasantly surprised to find some pockets of beauty popping up as well around the park. Hope you enjoy this photo report!
