Disneyland really is a magical place. Sometimes the simplest of things can be such a strong reminder of this. On Saturday while visiting the park I got to watch a young friend experience the magic first hand. I snapped this picture as she had a wonderful moment with Dale I believe. I’m not entirely sure. Either way, they were off in their own little magical world and loving every moment of it. These are the moments that really make Disneyland such a magical experience. These are the things that keep [Read More]

Yesterday I had the chance to go check out the new Meet n’ Greet location at Disney California Adventure and meet Sailor Mickey. As a lover of the sea, this was definitely a treat. I have grown up loving boats, the sea, and sailing especially so I definitely wanted to make sure and see Sailor Mickey yesterday. First, however I went and saw the last day of Mardi Gras as a part of the Family Fun Weekends. The highlight of this visit was that Dale seemed to really like my [Read More]
This morning I beelined into Disneyland to get some pictures and videos of the Mardi Gras celebration for Family Fun Weekends. This is the first weekend where the Family Fun Weekeends was not held in Festival Arena. Instead, everyone was over in New Orleans Square. Upon my arrival, I found Chip & Dale in the Court of Angels. About a half an hour later, a cavalcade led by Mickey and Minnie made its way through New Orleans Square. They were followed by Donald, Pluto, Goofy, and the Jambalaya Jazz Band. [Read More]
Yesterday I visited Disneyland to check out Lunar New Year for myself. Last weekend, Francis was a wonderful chap and ran into the park and took photos for us but this weekend I thought I’d see how things were for myself. However, if you wanted a seat for any of the shows… be vigilant. It seemed that people [Read More]
This morning some DAPs Magic members joined together to walk through the park for the 2010 CHOC Walk. A great time was had by all (DAPs… WOOT WOOT!) and over a thousand dollars were raised for Children’s Hospital of Orange County. Here are the photos from Mr. DAPs camera. Ali’s photos will be coming later. Hope you enjoy the pictures!
Make it a GREAT day!

It’s that time of year again. Anyone who has walked into Disneyland during the last couple of weeks has undoubtedly noticed the orange bunting and Jack o’ Lanterns that adorn Main Street, USA. Of course this is just the tip of the iceberg of what goes on at Disneyland during the Halloween season. Here are a few things that we at DAPs Magic think you won’t want to miss during this most haunted season at the Disneyland Resort.
Main Street, USA
As you enter Main Street, USA it is impossible not to notice a [Read More]
There are many Disney shorts that come to mind as favorites as I think back through my childhood. There is the one with the Humphrey the Bear cleaning up garbage. There also is the one with Donald Duck and his toy sailboat that gets stolen by Chip and Dale. And then there are the Mickey Mouse ones… how to pick a favorite? One always seems to pop back into my mind though when I think about Disney shorts….Mickey’s Trailer. Perhaps because it reminds me of camping trips as a kid [Read More]
