Beautiful Snowflake

Snow comes down along the parade route daily at Disneyland… just not in the traditional form. These are snowflakes that bring beauty to A Christmas Fantasy Parade by NOT falling down. These are the snowflakes on roller skates in the Christmas parade and personally, I think they are one of the most fun parts of the parade. Perhaps because I would love to be able to roller skate through Disneyland. It’d be a blast. Who cares about Segways, it’s all about roller skates.. or blades. When I was a kid we used to go roller skating in the local school every Friday night. I think it was like fifty cents or something. It was always a happy part of my week as a kid. Then I lived in Duluth, Minnesota and we would roller blade on the boardwalk around the edge of Lake Superior. This was also a lot of fun.

While I’d really love to be able to skate through Disneyland, I wouldn’t want to be a roller skate. For one, they have to wear those outfits. Looks great on them… probably not so much on me… I shudder to think about it. Second, I doubt I could skate in sync with everyone else. So instead, I’ll just enjoy A Christmas Fantasy Parade and the snowflakes as they make their way up and down the parade route.
