A Random Rest Area

As we continued our drive through New Mexico, we hit a rest area. Of course there wasn’t a whole lot exciting going on there but I did like some of the trees that were around. Soooo… I took a picture of a few of them. This is one of the shots I took. It really did amaze me at how in such an inhospitable environment there was so much life. It reminded me of the old Disney True Life Adventures. It was insanely hot but at the same time… so beautiful. So, I really didn’t mind the heat too much. Tomorrow, we’ll start the adventure outside of Albuquerque and into a thunderstorm!
