Notre Dame and the Seine

Notre Dame is one of my favorite landmarks in Paris. This view of it in particular always makes me smile. It captures, for me, what Paris is. I love seeing the boats on the Seine and would even MORE to live aboard one. Imagine waking up in the morning and looking out the porthole to see… THIS! What a wonderful lifestyle that would be. I think the other thing I love about this spot and picture is that it is timeless. Technology and progress really haven’t gotten in the way. Sure there are a few modern things that float into the picture but for the most part, this is probably the same view of Notre Dame that has been seen for a very long time. I love looking at this scene, letting my imagination wander.
