The day so many of us had been waiting for finally came yesterday. The Hobbit began filming. Even more fun was that Peter Jackson documented the occasion and shared it with the fans! He did this by creating a facebook fan page. One can only assume that there will be even more photos and fun information posted there as the production moves forward.
